For my day job, I’m a Technology Advocate with ThoughtWorks. I’ve worked for the company since 2009, in this role since 2015.

I’ve helped organize DevOpsDays Seattle for the past couple years, and became a global core organizer for DevOpsDays in 2017.

Over the past 25 years or so I’ve worked in almost every part of a software company. I’ve been a founder, developer, manager, sales engineer, sales rep and a few other things. I can say I’ve never worked in the finance or legal departments; that would have been bad.

Random stuff:

  • I’m an open source freak, but still use the best tool for the job whenever possible. Sorry OpenOffice.
  • I’m very opinionated, but my opinions change quite often, especially where technology is concerned.
  • We have 2 dogs (the smallest of which is 95lbs) and 2 cats (which are considerably smaller than the dogs).

You can follow me on Twitter @kmugrage for mostly on topic stuff about DevOps and Continuous Delivery. With the occasional rant.
